The Green Classroom Presentation
See the slides and script to our Green Classroom presentation. This was first presented at the fall 2009 Capital District Educational Technology Group conference, held on November 6th, 2009. This presentation was developed in Pecha Kucha format, meaning each of the 20 slides is presented for 20 and only 20 seconds. Their mission "is to empower higher education to lead the sustainability transformation" by "providing resources, professional development, and a network of support to enable institutions of higher education to model and advance sustainability in everything they do, from governance and operations to education and research."

A partnership between Fortune 500 company Waste Management and leading media brand Discovery Education, this site offers a wealth of teacher, student, and display resources to engage learners on the environment.
Going Green with Campus IT
One of the leading organizations supporting information technology in higher education, EDUCAUSE, has dedicated its fall 2009 quarterly report to green education technologies.

This site provides a series of environmental lesson plans, suggested literature, and family and community activities for K-12 students.
Greening Schools
This site, developed between the Illinois EPA and Waste Management Research Center, is dedicated to help schools and their teachers introduce waste reduction and pollution prevention topics to students.
