Rensselaer Enlists Intellidemia™ to Develop Syllabus Catalog:
Concourse™ offers Office of Entrepreneurship at Rensselaer opportunity to enhance understanding and promotion of entrepreneurship curriculum
Troy, NY Feb 16, 2010 – The Office of Entrepreneurship at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute has teamed up with Intellidemia to provide unprecedented access to information about its entrepreneurially-driven, cross-campus academic curriculum. By implementing Concourse, Intellidemia’s online syllabus platform, Rensselaer is making it easier for students to find courses infused with entrepreneurship content. At the same time, instructors and administrators can instantly view these course syllabi, allowing them to better understand, evaluate, and enhance such entrepreneurial academic offerings.
Intellidemia co-founder and CEO, Judd Rattner, sees this unique partnership as an opportunity to breathe new life into the traditional paper syllabus by making its online counterpart easier to access, organize, share, and analyze. “With Concourse, Intellidemia is helping the Office of Entrepreneurship advance their understanding and promotion of entrepreneurship at Rensselaer,” he said.
Rob Chernow, Vice Provost of Entrepreneurship at Rensselaer, furthers this sentiment by stating, “More than 60 courses across Rensselaer’s curriculum now include an entrepreneurial component. In addition to the teaching tools we offer to faculty to complement their offerings, Concourse is another enabling tool that is helping to organize and functionalize our online Course Finder search engine.”
