The heart of the Concourse experience
At the heart of Concourse is the syllabus editor. Concourse blends together the experience from your word processor software with that of traditional online, form driven tools. But Concourse is not a wizard. What sets Concourse apart is the flexibility you have when adding and arranging information on your syllabus. On the surface, your syllabus will look and feel just like your paper one, though under the surface, an extremely robust data organization model is being used.
From the editor, you can quickly add any number of deliverables, evaluation criteria, policies, meetings times, office hours, books, schedule entries, and more. You can design an entirely new course syllabus or enter an existing one. Concourse also accepts rich text. You can style your syllabus just as you would in a word processor. Bold, italics, underlines, bullets, hyperlinks, and even tables can all be inserted or pasted directly into your online syllabus. Best of all, the syllabus you are creating will be immediately viewable just as others would see it.
