Webinar: Concourse Syllabus guided tour

Could your syllabi use a little spring cleaning? Want to see syllabus management done right in action? Join us on Tuesday, April 15th at 2 pm Eastern for an exclusive deep dive into Concourse Syllabus, hosted by our partners at Modern Campus. You’ll experience a walkthrough of the platform while having the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about Concourse or the Concourse and Modern Campus partnership.

If you weren't able to join us for the webinar, you can view the recording below.

Overcoming the post-spring break doldrums

With most college spring breaks having passed, you’re most likely in the thick of the final stretch of the term. Another successful term is so close you can feel it, but it feels like you have a million tasks to complete before you can reach it. You have to keep the momentum going, but maybe you’re unsure how. Kevin Dettmar shares practical ways to invest in your team and your students through the post-Spring Break funk and sprint to the finish line of the year.

Creating a syllabus that sounds like you

Your syllabus is a reflection of you. It should, of course, include the relevant information needed for students to understand the course expectations, but it should also sound like you! After all, it might be the first impression that a student has of you. Beckie Supiano shares two tools (from Baylor University and Massachusetts Institute for Technology) and some ideas on how to ensure that your students are hearing you within their course syllabus.

P.S.: Concourse makes it quick and easy to refresh your syllabus content. Ask us how!

A sweet story of overcoming obstacles

In times of uncertainty, a feel-good story can be incredibly inspiring and uplifting. When Sweet Briar College was set to close its doors, alumni, students, and staff fought to keep the school open. One decade later, the school is thriving, providing students a top-notch education in a beautiful and unique setting. Read more about their fight to keep the school open below. It’s a sweet (pun intended) reminder that even when things look dark, sometimes a new approach is all it takes to find a way forward.
